Affiliate FAQ How does the commission system work?
As an affiliate, you are assigned an unique AffiliateID that is included in your site's link to Usenetix.
When a user clicks on the link and then subscribes to our service, we will know to pay you a commission.
What if the user follows my link and signs up several days later?
Because we utilize cookies to track sales, as long as the user signs up within 30 days you will still be
paid the commission!
What if the user has cookies disabled?
Cookies are essential for almost all web-apps these days (Hotmail, for example), so the vast majority of browsers
are cookie enabled. In our experience, the benefits of using cookies (such as the 30-day commission tracking time)
far outweighs the few browsers that don't support cookies.
How do I link to your site?
After signing up, we will provide you a selection of banner ads that you can use. A wide variety of shapes
and sizes are available.
What if I don't want banners on my site?
We have ads as small as a "button" that you can place on your site unobstrusively. In addition, we
also permit direct text links to our site without the usage of any banners.
When are affiliates paid?
Checks are sent out to affiliates with commissions over $50 at the end of each month. Those with less than $50
will be carried over into the next month.
Why hasn't my monthly check arrived?
The most likely reason is that your earned commissions for the month have not exceeded the minimum amount of $50.
My check was sent to an old address. Can you send another one?
Sorry, we do not reissue checks once they are sent. Please make sure your account information is always up-to-date.
